Menora Arrives in Minnesota

They keep saying "Menora".
Do they mean me?

Sweet and gentle Menora arrived at her foster home in Minnesota, confused and a little worried, after a long transport from Chicago. Where was she? Who was this woman driving the car and later holding the end of the leash? Would she be warm and fed? Very quickly, Menora found the soft dog beds, and settled down for a long nap. All that traveling can be really tiring!

Is it ok if I lay down on this soft bed?

I think it must be ok - would you mind rubbing my belly?

Put the camera down and rub my belly, already!

This is so cozy - I can lay on both beds at the same time!

I can't believe my luck - great beds here!

A little less light, please.

S--t--r--e--t--c--h!

Out in the yard, she sniffed out every possible smell, checking out the fence, trees, and the deliscious ice chunks that we had thoughtfully provided for her.

Yummm. Ice.

This is an especially good patch of ice.

What's over this way?

Maybe this girl knows where to go.

I'd better check the fence line.

Something good here.

Ahhh-choo!!!!
A little under the weather coming from the shelter.

I think there may be birds over there.

Couldn't you have taken this picture with my WHOLE head in it?

What do you keep in this garage?

Maybe I can tell what's here by sniffing.

They say my tail feathers might grow in when I've been on good food for a while.

It was pretty chilly, though, and "Nora" did not want to stay outside for long.

I think I'd like to go in now.

Still feeling a little ragged from my time in the shelter.
I'm awfully happy to have someplace warm to be.

I'm feeling better already.
